Before we joined Caremark I worked in property and my wife was in education. We wanted to start our own business and domiciliary care leapt out at us because, due to an aging population, it is a growing market.

We looked at other franchises but decided that Caremark fitted us best. One of the reasons for this was that we got on really well with Kevin Lewis, founder of Caremark, and Sean Cragg, the National Operations Manager. Additionally the whole franchise package stood out for us and we were especially impressed with the comprehensive support the company offers.

As part of the franchise package we went on a two week training course, which was very thorough and we came away feeling that we had learned a lot. Furthermore, the support we have received has been great and lived up to our expectations. The help is there as and when we need it. We talk to head office on a weekly basis and Sean came out with me to look for a suitable office location.

At the moment we are concentrating on getting our business up and running but once we are established we want to expand and in the future we are aiming to have three offices in operation.
