In Pursuit of Excellence

In Pursuit of Excellence

While the social care industry experiences discomfort and reform, Caremark remains at the leading edge and continues to deliver excellence across the network. With care at home at the forefront of the 2010 General Election debate, there are many resultant changes occurring in the health and social care industry and this is leading to the rise in the popularity of care franchises. Throughout 2009, Caremark underwent rigorous planning and research in order to respond to the industry changes before they arrived. With the most sophisticated policies, procedures and documentation to support the new regulations and standards, the Caremark network has continued to grow in size and strength, and continues on the path to pursuing excellence.

The pursuit of excellence is not only about satisfying regulations, but it is about delivering only the very best standards of care in the home across the UK and Ireland. The demand for home care and support services has significantly grown since its inception in 1993, when for many people, it became the preferred method of receiving support while still allowing them to remain in their own homes. Today, the social care sector is worth in excess of £20 billion per annum and continues to experience staggering growth.

Sean Cragg, National Operations Director of Caremark Ltd, the person overseeing the preparations Caremark has undertaken comments: "Excellence is not about size, personal reward or satisfaction, it revolves around the person in receipt of our services. Caremark is wholly committed to its' customer, developing in line with the cultural changes in the industry and possessing a vision that contributes to real change in our customer's life. This belief is something that is a common thread running through all of our franchise owners, and ultimately, is the basis of their success."
