Franchise owner helps raise money for charity
The franchise owner of Caremark (Eastbourne and Wealden) has sponsored a local Raffle draw at a charity Summer Dance to aid the raising of money for a new Church Building and Community Centre. The charity dance was one of a number of community fundraising events organised by St Wilfrids Catholic Church in Hailsham. The event was very well attended by members of the Hailsham community, which hosted a grand prize draw, of which the raffle tickets were sponsored by Caremark (Eastbourne and Wealden). Attendees enjoyed music from DJ Andy Parsons and entertainment from the Kerry School of Irish Dancing, raising over £1,200 towards the new Church Building and Community Centre.
Paula Chalmers, Managing Director of Caremark (Eastbourne and Wealden) said: "As a significant provider of home care in the Hailsham area, we hope that our sponsorship and backing will be instrumental in raising the profile of the Charity and the cause. We have a great deal of other involvement in the local community; we are members of the Chamber of Commerce and we are involved with various networking groups, striving to really make a difference to a whole range of issues in the local area."
