Domiciliary Care franchise Caremark Ltd is now in its 4th year of trading and has continued to flourish in this demanding marketplace. With in excess of 40 offices across the UK, the Caremark brand is rapidly becoming recognised as one of excellence and quality.
The provision of home care has grown in demand since its introduction in 1993 when, for many people, it became the preferred method of receiving care, while still allowing them to remain in their own homes. Today the social care sector is worth in excess of a staggering £20 billion per annum and continues to thrive.
Caremark franchise owners provide care to a wide array of clients and organisations giving them the maximum opportunity to grow their business to its full potential while still maintaining the highest stands of care and professionalism.
The knowledge and support provided by Caremark's dedicated support team allows franchise owners to utilise their many skills, to include business development, marketing, I.T, accounting and of course care. 'The support from head office has been fantastic,' says Edward Clarke, Caremark (Worthing). 'I had a lot of help with the preparation of my business launch and since then there has always been someone at the end of the phone when I need advice.'
Main criteria we look for in a Franchise Owner
4. ABILITY TO RUN YOUR OWN BUSINESS
SUCCES IN 2009
2009 has seen many incredible success stories for Caremark franchise owners. Caremark offices across the country have seen fantastic early results due to the preparation, support and time spent preparing for business. 'We are extremely proud of this achievement and it is testament to the franchise format that has been created,' explains National Operation Manager Sean Cragg. 'Our Caremark (New Forest) franchise owner Karen Walters had immediate demand for the service when her business opened in early February and it has continued to grow week on week. The same can also be said for most of our offices, who have got off to flying starts within days of opening their businesses.'
With 12 new territories to be agreed in the forthcoming weeks Caremark's network will soon reach over 50 offices. '2009 has so far been an incredible year for Caremark,' explains Franchise Manager Emma Parker. 'In such an unstable financial and economic climate this shows that the care sector in no way seems to be suffering. Potential franchise owners can have the confidence of entering into a business that has strength, security and durability.'
ACHIEVEMENT AND EXCELLENCE IS RECOGNISED
Caremark firmly believes in recognising its franchise owners' successes and rewards them accordingly. The 'Mark of Excellence' award was recently presented to Caremark (Welwyn & Hatfield) for the team's dedication to the highest standards of care. Franchise'owners Lawrence and Melinda Hart were delighted to receive the award: 'It's great to be recognised as a company that offers excellent standards of care. Caremark is one of those businesses that is not too affected by the recession, so we can continue to deliver a good standard of care without interference from the economic situation. We mostly care for older people, but also take care of people with terminal illness or mental health issues. Caremark (Welwyn & Hatfield) is expanding its workforce - we're becoming quite a major employer in the area and we're on a recruitment drive at the moment.'
Annie Pearson, Caremark (Wokingham), was another franchise owner awarded for her motivation and excellent standards. 'Annie is a more then worthy winner of the award due to her determination and development of a successful business,' says Caremark Managing Director Kevin Lewis. 'Caremark (Wokingham) continues to be recognised as a provider of choice in the area due to Annie's dedication to providing the highest standards of care. We strongly believe our success as a network is due to the high calibre of franchise owners that have joined the team. This, together with the strength of our brand, has enabled Caremark to establish firm roots into the home care sector. The success of our franchise owners is simply phenomenal.'
