Cash Generator has presented its Franchisee of the Year award for 2010 to Stephen Hayhurst (pictured top), who has been operating his franchise for just two years.

Hayhurst opened his first store in Chorley in September 2008 and has since opened a further two outlets in Cheetham Hill and Halifax. He has achieved excellent results in all three stores.

Robin Page, Franchise Director of Cash Generator, presented the award at the company's annual conference. He said: "At Cash Generator, we are dedicated to recognising and rewarding achievement and Stephen is an exemplary franchise owner.

"With two successful stores, and despite difficult personal circumstances, Stephen opened his third store this year making it three stores in two years – an impressive accomplishment. His hard work and passion for the business makes him a worthy winner of Franchisee of the Year award for 2010."

Hayhurst added: "I am honoured to receive the Franchisee of the Year award. It is a great recognition for the hard work that I have put in over the last two years. I have a great team supporting me in each store and I'd like to thank each of them for their continued commitment."

Keen to continue his success, Hayhurst is currently looking to expand his portfolio and is looking for a new location for his fourth store.
