"I would give the whole CeX operation 10 out of 10"

\"I'd recommend CeX to anyone who is up for a challenge and loves digital products and technology\"

smail had been running his own business in the mobile phone sector for five years but had wanted to expand into new products lines but was wary about do so on his own.

"CeX came to mind and having visited a number of their stores I liked the look of it as it fitted in perfectly with my plans," explains Ismail. "The company's system fitted in perfectly with what I thought was the perfect business model for buying and selling at fixed prices across a network."

Ismail also knows this issue's other featured CeX franchise owner Zuber Patel so when it came to finding out more about how the franchise operated he could quiz Zuber as well as visit his stores in Huddersfield and Dewsbury.

"It was very helpful to see how the CeX system worked first hand at Zuber's stores," says Ismail. "I have also had excellent support from CeX franchising manager Martin Hawthorne from the very start right through to the launch of my store - I couldn't have done it without him. In fact I would give the whole CeX operation 10 out of 10 for the support and training they have given me."

Ismail's store has been given a warm welcome in Scunthorpe, with the public singing the store's praises while the local council is delighted that CeX is helping to increase the footfall in the town centre and, therefore, to other local businesses.

Ismail and his staff of eight are now concentrating on consolidating the successful launch of the Scunthorpe store so that Ismail can pursue his goal of a £1 million turnover in his first year as a franchise owner and open further CeX stores.

"I'd recommend CeX to anyone who is up for a challenge and loves digital products and technology," says Ismail.
