The newest addition to the CeX network is franchise owner Shashi Sharma, whose Staines' store has been receiving positive feedback not only from her customers but also fellow traders and the town council.
Shashi had been looking for the perfect franchise opportunity to suit her for 10 months before deciding gadgets and entertainment experts Complete Entertainment Exchange (CeX) was plugged into her business plan needs.
"I didn't have any experience in retail before, and found that CeX could provide the complete package from excellent training for me and my staff to organising the installation of the store front and shop interior," explained Shashi.
"To help the store's launch run smoothly, an experienced CeX manager was with me for the first two weeks of trading to offer any advice I needed to get the shop up and running. I also have the assurance that if I need any help in the future, it is just a phone call away either from CeX's head office or fellow CeX franchise owners."
Within a week of its January 31 launch, Shashi and her staff of ten were receiving praise from customers for the excellent service in store while other businesses on the High Street were saying how CeX had helped increase the footfall for their shops too.
Shashi chose Staines for her CeX franchise after research revealed that the town council has been actively supporting new businesses which has put Staines firmly on the retailing map and ride through the recession.
Shashi added: "Once the Staines store is established and looking after itself I intend on opening other stores and would recommend the CeX franchise to anyone who has some commercial awareness and the back up before and after launching the Staines' store has been tremendous."
