The couple supply cleaning and hygiene products to customers across Berkshire and Hampshire.Chemex Managing Director, Michael Graham, said: “This is a terrific result by Stephen and Margaret and demonstrates just what can be achieved with a really dedicated approach.

“Many of our franchisees top £250,000 a year, but this is the first time anyone has taken it past the £300,000 mark.”Stephen, a franchise owner with Chemex for more than 20 years, said the key to their success was building strong relationships with customers.

“We invest time in developing customer relationships and making sure that we understand their business needs, as well as their individual needs.”

Stephen added: “Franchising has been good to us and we would recommend it to anybody. We could not have achieved what we have as an independent business and a nice bonus is that many of our customers are now good friends too.”
