ChipsAway has raised the profile of its franchise owners' businesses by filming its first television advert. The advert, which will be seen by millions of people on national TV later this year, represents ChipsAway's investment in raising brand awareness and generating new business for its franchise owners.

Lloyd Evans, Chief Executive of ChipsAway, said: 'We have already seen new business leads for the first five months of 2009 up 68 per cent on the same period last year, and want to continue pushing the ChipsAway brand to a wide an audience as possible.'

ChipsAway operates a 24/7 UK Call Centre and last year launched a national advertising campaign, which according to Lloyd, has contributed to the current boom in business. He added: 'We are confident that our powerful new television advert will generate substantially increased levels of new business for our UK network of franchise owners.'

ChipsAway has around 350 franchise owners operating across the UK offering 'on-the-spot' SMART repair service. Franchise owners operate from professionally liveried vehicles, customised as fully equipped mobile workshops, which means they can repair minor dents, paintwork scratches and bumper scuffs to car paintwork on a same day basis, in a location most convenient to their customer and at a lower cost of traditional bodyshop repair methods.
