Franchisee Diary: Jason Ashfield

ChipsAway is a great business, with a great brand name and offering a great franchise package.

I undertook my training in January and launched my business over a weekend in February last year. Within a couple of hours of setting up the marquee, we were really busy writing estimates - ultimately we generated enquiries worth around £4,000, with £1,500 of firm bookings. It was a great feeling on Monday morning to have plenty of work ahead of me from my first day in business, and things have just snowballed from there!

The work is really satisfying. People can't believe that they can have their car repaired to factory standard finish, at a place that's convenient to them, at a time that suits and that they can have the vehicle back within only a few hours. A ChipsAway repair saves them money too - customers often recommend me to their friends and family, which is brilliant for my business!

My business is continuing to grow rapidly - I'm quicker at doing the repairs, I'm more confident now and my services are increasingly in demand as word spreads in the area. If things continue as they are, once my loan is paid off I'll certainly be laughing all the way to the bank!
