Automotive paintwork repair franchise, ChipsAway, recently opened a new flagship CarCare Centre facility in Kidderminster, where the company has has its head office for the past 16 years.

Following a high profile national television campaign, demand for ChipsAway repairs has rocketed, resulting in a series of fixed base workshops – known as CarCare Centres opening across the country – complementing the 300+ UK network of mobile repair specialists and its international operations.

The new 3,250 sq.ft flagship facility will offer motorists the benefit of cost effective and convenient car repairs and will provide a test centre for the development and trial of new products, technology and methodologies, which will then be fed back to the international network, in order to continually improve the ChipsAway service.

Lloyd Evans, Chief Executive of ChipsAway, said: “We are very excited about our new CarCare Centre and we were delighted to have the honour of the Mayor of Kidderminster to officially open it.

“Research shows that more and more people are becoming aware of the ChipsAway brand and realising that it is an effective way of getting automotive paintwork and minor damage such as bumper scuffs, scratches and kerbed alloy wheels, repaired to a professional quality.

“Having a ChipsAway owned CarCare Centre close to head office will also allow us to develop new systems and trial products and techniques before rolling them out internationally.”
