Director of Coffee Republic steps down

The Director of Coffee Republic Brian Carroll has announced that he is leaving the company to pursue other entrepreneurial activities.

As well as the departure of Brian Coffee Republic also announced that an International Franchise Director has been employed. Alan Ainsworth will take up this position ahead of the company's international franchise expansion plan, which will be partly funded by the profits of selling 6.6 per cent of the company's shares. 'I am much encouraged by the volume and calibre of both domestic and international opportunities becoming available to the company,' says Peter Breach, Chairman of Coffee Republic. 'This injection of funds will assist the company to develop the brand more quickly and hasten the delivery of value to the shareholders.'
