One of the UK’s leading eateries, Crêpeaffaire, is continuing to make big strides in franchising with the opening of its newest crêperie on The Broadway, Wimbledon, with franchise owner Parakh Gandhi.

The Wimbledon store will offer an extensive range of signature freshly-baked savoury and sweet crêpes, both to eat in or to consume on the go. The store will feature a brand new design and its trademark ‘crêpe theatre’ with crêpes being produced by Crêpeaffaire’s unique and ultra fast baking machine, and hand-finished to order.

Gandhi, whose career was with Yum Brands (Pizza hut and KFC) before joining Expedia UK as Director of Market Management, commented: “Both my personal and professional background are in food, and I was looking for an opportunity to develop an up-and-coming brand with multiple site potential. Crêpeaffaire seemed a natural choice – it’s unique, professionally operated and very tasty.

“I have enjoyed working with the Crêpeaffaire management team, who have been involved at every step of the new store concept, design and logistics. The team is very committed and hands-on – led by the founder himself.”

Crêpeaffaire founder and Managing Director, Daniel Spinath, said: “We are proud to partner with Parakh, who shares our passion for the brand and delivers a consistently excellent store experience to our customers.

“Franchising is a crucial part of our expansion strategy. We are keen to work with the best partners to secure the best sites available. A great partnership is the foundation for a great business, and both franchise owner and franchisor need to feel comfortable that there is a commitment to doing great things together, not unlike a marriage.”
