David Bigmore is the founder of David Bigmore & Co. based in the North West and in the City of London. He was educated at Oxford University and trained at Coward Chance (now Clifford Chance). He has been practising franchising law for over 25 years. David founded his present firm in 1992, having previously been the head of the corporate and commercial department of a City firm.

David was an original member of the legal committee of the British Franchise Association (bfa), which advises the bfa on legal issues. He was awarded Sole Practitioner of the Year (all categories) for Wales in 2004. David was also awarded Franchise Law Firm of the Year in UK 2010 in the Legal Awards of the prestigious Corporate International Magazine.
