franchise owner wins award

The owner of four Domino's Pizza franchises has won an award for his outstanding business achievements in the hospitality and catering industry.

Antony Tagliamonti, 27, was named as one of the 30 people under the age of 30 who were recognised for their commitment and dedication to the hospitality industry in the annual Caterer & Hotelkeeper Acorn Awards. A previous winner of the bfa Franchisee of the Year Award Tagliamonti, who is based in Essex, started his career as a deliver driver and rose to become a multi-store owner.

'I'm absolutely delighted to be recognised but it doesn't stop here,' says Antony Tagliamonti, owner of Domino's Pizza franchises. 'As well as maintaining high standards of quality, image and service at our existing stores, I am working on opening new stores in the region. The most important thing for me is giving something back to the industry that has helped me achieve my success. If I can inspire just one person to follow in my footsteps, then the hard work has been worth it.'
