Five years of success for Dream Doors franchise owner

Five years on since launching their Dream Doors franchise John and Elaine Ryan's business is still growing. A husband and wife team John and Elaine (pictured) launched their Dream Door business in 2005 and last March opened their first showroom, which has resulted in a huge growth in business.

John Ryan said: "Business for the first two months has already doubled. We now sub-contract two teams of fitters and plan to recruit our own drivers to do deliveries."

In addition to the hard work John and Elaine have put into their business they put some of their success down to the support they have had from head office. John added: "I was given a mentor and I trusted his advice. After all, the company has done it all before and it's in their interests as much as mine that the business grows and succeeds.

"Establish how much help your franchise company provides before signing up. If you're running your own business there's no-one to discuss your problems with, but I know I'm not on my own."
