Since opening their showroom in March, orders have continued to flood in for the Hurleys. And with £94,000 of kitchen facelifts sold in June, they broke through the quarter-of-a-million pounds barrier in just one quarter! Mike says: “We are so far ahead in our business plan that we are already interviewing for more staff. I need time to focus on appointments as we’re getting so many enquiries.” He adds: “We had no experience in kitchens before doing this. Our Franchise Manager is great, and the support we get from Dream Doors far outstrips what is contractually agreed.”

Chris and Paula hold the Dream Doors’ record monthly turnover with a staggering £136,000 in April 2008. Last year, they managed two further record months with £91,237 in February and £111,408 in November. With £550,000 of kitchen facelifts sold in 2009 from their stunning showroom just outside Lincoln, they won Dream Doors’ ‘Franchisee of the Year’ award for 2009. Chris adds: “It was great to win the award last year and our sales in November clinched first prize. We’ve ramped up business even more this year and are about to open a new showroom on the high street.”

After opening their Peterborough showroom, the Joneses achieved annual sales of £350,000 in their first year! Like most Dream Doors’ franchise owners, they had no kitchen industry experience.
