Summary of Operation
Commercial cleaning franchise. As a Dublcheck franchise owner you can build a substantial commercial cleaning business supported by a company with many years' experience in supplying services to many high profile national groups and high street businesses.

Before launching his Yorkshire-based Dublcheck franchise, self-employed Stewart Weatherill predominately worked in advertising sales, where he trained and recruited staff for various companies. Stewart was searching for a business where he could work for himself and have financial security but also have the reassurance of a support team. "I looked at other franchises but Dublcheck was the best suited for me," explains Stewart.

"I first discovered Dublcheck in The Franchise Magazine and then, a few weeks later when I went to a franchise exhibition in Manchester, I saw the Dublcheck stand and approached them for more information. I was attracted to the commercial cleaning franchise because they take care of all the invoices, health and safety issues and initial training. You can also decided how much or little you want to invest in the franchise and are guaranteed a turnover and profit," he adds.

During a thorough three-day training course new franchise owners are trained in all areas of the business from accounts and VAT to the actual cleaning process. Since joining Dublcheck, Stewart has found the head office support very useful.

"The franchisor doesn't interfere with the running of my business but if I need support or advice someone is always available to help," he says.

Stewart currently employs 23 members of staff at his Dublcheck franchise, he says: "Generally, when recruiting staff, I can tell pretty quickly if the company is going to suit someone or not but I am happy to say that so far I have been very fortunate to have found good workers who are totally reliable."With the British economy gradually becoming more stable, business expansion is definitely an option for ambitious individuals. Stewart explains: "I would like to build up the business as much as I can by employing more staff and expanding my customer base. If business keeps going the way that it is I will be hitting my £150,000 target by the end of the year and I aim to be reaching that £250,000 goal soon."

Established in 1993, Dublcheck has grown into a national network of over 100 franchise owners. The commercial cleaning franchise continues to thrive and expand, even throughout the recession, Dublcheck has seen an increase in turnover in excess of 10 per cent. Commercial cleaning will always be needed as offices, schools and factories always need to be maintained.

Central to Dublcheck's success is its dedication to ensuring franchise owners have all the tools and knowledge they need to reproduce the values of the Dublcheck brand, which has resulted in a 90 per cent client retention rate. For your initial investment you will receive an initial training course, ongoing training and support, access to branded uniforms, products, sales and marketing tools and stationery.

Dublcheck founder and Chairman Carol Stewart-Gill says: "With our experience and track record, we can safely say that if you put in the effort and follow the system, with a Dublcheck franchise the rewards are there for everyone to see."
