A former freelance personal trainer, Imran was keen to take his career to the next level and run his own personal training studio, but lacked the resources and business acumen to do so. In terms of training, Imran has completed a management-training course, which includes a distance learning module and a three-day residential module and is due to go on a fitness product training course before the launch of his studio in St John's Wood, North London.
Imran enthuses: 'I am looking forward to my future as a personal fitness studio owner especially having the stability of a regular income once the business is established. In my first year I intend to take a hands-on role training both staff and clients with the aim of making a net profit of £30,000. Long-term, my goal is to become a multiple studio owner, with my staff looking after the day-to-day running of the studios, allowing me to focus on developing the brand throughout my territory.'
