What Engage Web can do for you

The Challenge

ProWarm, the UK’s biggest online underfloor heating company, had begun to use social media to raise the awareness of the ProWarm brand. However, the problem was that the Facebook page had attracted only five ‘likes’ and business owner Michael Lewis felt this did not reflect the brand’s true position in the market.

It had proved difficult for ProWarm to engage people with a product that is generally perceived as somewhat high-end, rather than as an affordable luxury.

Engage Web knew there was a need for a Facebook campaign to provide impetus and gain a significant number of ‘likes’ to better reflect the brand.

Engage Web solution

Engage Web team worked with the ProWarm team to implement and run a Facebook competition. Facebook users were incentivised to ‘like’ the ProWarm page with the change to win £100 of high street retail vouchers. Engage Web took care of all aspects of the contest.



The results greatly exceeded initial expectations with 927 page ‘likes’ generated in just one month. To maintain this momentum and to engage users, Engage Web also provided the social media management.



The Facebook page now receives regular updates – questions are linked to relevant industry articles, ProWarm website pages and content, engaging users’ interest and raising brand awareness.
