Equas SmartPro is looking for franchisees

Equas SmartPro, which specialises in the design and implementation of Quality and Environmental Management Systems, has launched its first wave of franchisees, including Jonathan Lea.

'When I achieved my Lead Auditors accreditation, I researched companies who deliver ISO9001 and Equas were by far the most realistic in what they had to offer and the most structured in the way they were going about it,' says Jonathan. 'They have provided both quality leads and signed up clients. I didn't need the 9001 training but they do subsidise the cost of it if necessary. However, I suggested that ISO14001 should be part of our toolkit and Equas agreed and paid for my training.

'You're made to feel very much part of the team and I'm enjoying it. Clients like the product and it's providing me with my livelihood. 'ISO in a Box' is aimed at small businesses and with over four million SMEs in the UK, there's a huge potential market out there.'
