Esquires beat out the Goliath’s of the UK coffee market, scoring comparatively higher than Starbucks, Caffe Nero and Pret a Manger. Fourteen of the UK’s largest coffee chains were ranked according to their environmental policies, tax avoidance and treatment of staff and suppliers.

UK Managing Director Doug Williamson states: "This is fantastic news for Esquires Coffee and a great step towards achieving our vision of becoming the world’s leading Organic and Fairtrade coffee retailer. We’re ethical and sustainable across the business and ‘what is best for the planet’ is always front of mind."

The results of this study come at a fantastic time for Esquires Coffee as they go through their growth period and continue to roll out their nationwide re-brand. Esquires are actively looking for franchise partners to grow their brand presence in the UK and hope to be operating 200 stores by the end of 2020.
