The franchise opportunity

The role of the FDS Franchise Consultant includes identifying potential franchisor clients, selling and delivering the FDS franchise programmes to develop new franchise operations, and working with existing franchisors to expand their operations both nationally and internationally. The FDS Consultant then builds and maintains a long term relationship with the client introducing the various forms of FDS media for advertising and the FDS FranMatch service for recruiting new franchise owners.

FDS also has international opportunities for experienced business people who wish to acquire Master Franchise rights for the USA, South Africa, Republic of Ireland, Portugal, The Netherlands, and the Middle East.

Candidate criteria

Although a background in selling and general management is desirable, FDS is ideally looking for candidates who have the ability to see a business for what it can become rather than what it is, and then communicate this with enthusiasm.

An initial investment of between £35,000 and £100,000 is required, depending on franchise type and location. Successful applications will receive detailed initial and ongoing training, both at the Norwich head office and in the field, together with a comprehensive business plan, and full marketing support.
