New appointment leads new FiltaFry recruitment drive

Fryer management service FiltaFry has appointed a new Franchise Manager with a mission to grow its franchise network through the recruitment of entrepreneurial individuals with vision and ambition.

Damian Slater (pictured right, with before and after samples of filtered cooking oil) originally joined the network as a Master Franchisee in Greece, before moving back to the UK to get married and taking a position in the franchise development team. His promotion to Franchise Manager reflects the company's commitment to providing experienced assistance to high calibre franchisee candidates.

'We have 65 franchisees established in the UK, some of whom would consider selling, plus 15 available territories all of which contain existing business,' says Chief Executive Roscoe Urosevic. 'We are geared up to mentor and develop two new franchisees per month who would be able to hit the ground running thanks to the amount of national business we now offer franchisees. In fact, head office wins approximately 50 per cent of the sales that make up our franchisees' businesses, through national contracts such as major supermarket chains and Moto service stations.'

Damian reflects: 'I very much enjoy my work at the Filta Group, especially when meeting potential franchisees. My job is made that much easier by being able to recommend the franchise, having experienced a relationship with the company as both franchisee and employee. The Filta Group is becoming internationally recognised for its contribution to waste reduction and impact on environmental issues, not to mention cost savings.
