George Reynolds becomes franchise-brokering manager and brings with him 34 years experience in the retail agency sector. He will play a matchmaking role at HWT, advising existing travel agents who may want to sell or retire from their business and bringing them together with potential franchisees. George has considerable experience in acquisition, mergers and sales and was one of the founders of tomorrow world travel.

'My exiting new position in Harvey World Travel will enable new franchisees to step into a ready made business including premises, fixtures and fittings, staff and an existing client base.

'This new role will is unique to the travel industry in that it match makes those that are looking to exit the travel business with potential franchisees who are keen to invest into the HWT model. In doing so they will benefit from the full support provided through finance, training, business development and marketing,' said George.

With attracting new franchisees being the priority for the team at HWT, John O'Leary joins Harvey world travel as franchise recruitment manager

Responsible for recruiting new franchisees from either existing travel agents or from outside of the industry, John has 25 years experience in the travel sector. Having worked for a number of diverse travel management companies, prior to joining Harvey World Travel, John was the UK sales manager at Travel Savers.

'The travel industry is an exciting and vibrant sector, I am delighted to be joining Harvey World Travel which brings a fresh approach to retailing. I will be looking to attract new investors into the industry as well as giving our existing travel agents the opportunity to benefit from the business support we provide to help them build our customer sale and maximise profits.'
