Fast fit tyre retailer HiQ is celebrating the launch of its 100th franchised outlet. HiQ has put this achievement down to the success of its new partnership led structure. Parent company Goodyear Dunlop, based in Wingfoot Way, Birmingham, unveiled the programme in a bid to accelerate the growth of the nationwide tyre and vehicle servicing network across the UK.

After launching the new business structure in March 2008 in preference to a managerial buy out option, a number of franchisees have joined to invest in stores in different regional areas.

Businessman John West's signing of a partnership to operate a number of stores in the south east of England has now brought the number of franchised operations to 100.

Recently, Goodyear Dunlop invested heavily in HiQ with a new broadcasting project, title sponsorship of the British Touring Car Championship and award winning online website.

James Bailey, Goodyear Dunlop Communication Manager, says: 'The increased profile of HiQ and our long term commitment to the network, has played a massive role in attracting quality franchisee investment.

'Our skilled and experienced associates are also a major contributor to the success of HiQ and the franchise route offers the best opportunity for our professional team members to progress their careers with a growing business.'
