A great opportunity just got better
The future is bright for Kent based commercial and domestic surface cleaning business Hydro-Dynamix whose franchise operation has grown successfully across the UK since 2000
Hydro-Dynamix is introducing a totally new concept in flood and fire restoration through its newly formed company Damage Mitigation LTD (DAM-mit), a joint venture with two other companies in the sector. In the wake of the severe flooding that affected parts of the UK during summer 2007 it is estimated that the cost to insurers was approximately £1 billion higher than necessary and the negative impact on the environment far greater than it should have been.
DAM-mit aims to provide Hydro-Dynamix franchisees with work from the leading insurance companies across the UK. Managing Director James Every states: 'DAM-mit is a revolutionary new proposition to the insurance sector and will not only provide a steady stream of work to our franchisees, it will also reduce the cost for insurance companies as we always try to restore and repair any damage as opposed to ripping out and replacing - this also has many positive benefits on the environment.'
EXISTING REVENUE STREAMS
In addition to this new opportunity, Hydro-Dynamix franchisees can generate revenue through a multitude of services: carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, hard floor cleaning, leather cleaning, pressure washing, graffiti removal, duct cleaning, drying services, dry steam cleaning, validated hygiene cleaning, fire & smoke damage cleaning, offsite cleaning/storage, asbestos testing, pack out service, mould abatement, PAT testing and leak detection.
Franchisees are allocated exclusive territories and Hydro-Dynamix ensures that each territory is sufficient to support three vans, plus a secondary territory is allocated to maximise on income as the business grows. It is envisaged that through contracts Hydro-Dynamix will be able to generate 50 per cent of the targeted turnover, with the franchisee generating the remainder through an active sales & marketing programme.
The franchise package provides the latest truck mount unit, giving franchisees the power to clean virtually anything. Franchisees also receive the necessary equipment, solutions, clothing, stationery, marketing pack, operating manuals and software - everything necessary to trade in a professional and effective manner.
Franchisees participate in a 16 day intensive training course at the company's head office and elsewhere. Regular on-the-job training is provided to ensure quality workmanship and also enables franchisees to achieve internationally recognised qualifications.
Hydro-Dynamix franchisees come from wide and varied backgrounds and no prior experience in the commercial or domestic cleaning industry is necessary. James reveals: 'We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals who are looking at working in a rewarding and profitable sector and who ultimately have the ability to build a good team and successful business.'
