Now celebrating its 30th anniversary, In-toto Kitchens recently invited BBCcelebrity chef Simon Rimmer to join the celebrations as the UK kitchenfranchise opened its 52nd high street store.

Together with franchise owner Philip Whitehead and In-toto Managing DirectorJonathan Wagstaff, Mr Rimmer entertained guests by preparing a three-coursemeal in the Bristol store's state-of-the-art, fully-fitted demonstrationkitchen.

The new store is the second to be opened by Mr Whitehead, who launchedIn-toto Swindon in 2007 after a 25-year career in computer sales. Runningthe two stores is a real family affair, with Mr Rimmer supported by hiswife, brother-in-law and son-in-law, and he firmly believes his franchisesuccess is down to location, the right product offering and family support."We opened our Bristol store exactly three years after the launch ofSwindon," he said. "Our success - and the reason I selected a kitchenfranchise as my choice of business - is down to the high value product wesell. Our kitchens retail between £15,000-£30,000 which ensures a good margin for our design and sales input."

Established in 1980, In-toto now has more franchise stores spread across theUK than any other kitchen retailer in the country and is part of the AWIPGroup, one of the world's biggest kitchen manufacturers.
