International finance firm, The Interface Financial Group (IFG), is offering budding entrepreneurs the chance to meet the firm’s president at an upcoming open house in Glasgow.
Held at Harper Macleod Solicitors on Tuesday 19 February, the IFG President, David Banfield, will deliver a session based around entrepreneurship, self-employment and the day-to-day life of an IFG franchise owner.
Banfield said: “It’s really important that those looking to move into franchising are provided with as much information as possible up front, so we’re pleased to be able to host this event and give those interested in running a franchise the chance to learn more about what we do and how we do it.
“We know that the transition from employee to franchise owner can be daunting, so we want those looking to take on an IFG franchise to feel that they have our full support from the outset.”
With an extensive background in banking and financial services, Banfield has played a significant part in the development and growth of IFG. Taking on the role of company President in 1991, his international business experience was a key factor in driving the business forwards.
Banfield continued: “Although our franchise owners often come from a finance background, this is not essential. We simply look for business-minded people with good customer relations, excellent decision making and problem solving skills, and a good entrepreneurial outlook.”
Beginning with a single transaction in 1972, IFG now operates on a franchise model, currently trading from 12 locations across England and Ireland.
