Investor sought by Portuguese chicken peri-peri restaurant

An investor is sought to take a 40 per cent stake in Bassito's peri peri and spearhead the development of a franchise package to replicate the company's Portuguese chicken peri-peri restaurant concept nationwide.

The concept has been designed by Mrs Bassett, who has used her previous restaurant owning experience to put together a package including approved suppliers, inviting Mediterranean restaurant design, and manuals.

'I am looking for an investor to open a pilot restaurant, and from there to start a franchise company in order to franchise the business,' she reveals.

'To buy into the company, an investment of £35,000 will secure a position on the board and 40 per cent of profits derived from future openings, plus capital in the region of £200,000 to £250,000 will be required to open the pilot restaurant, depending on location.'
