International restaurant chain Johnny Rockets seeks UK master franchise owner

Johnny Rockets, the iconic modern Americana restaurant with more than 300 locations worldwide, is looking for an experienced master licensee for the UK.

With 29 years of global brand awareness, the international restaurant chain offers a modern Americana dining experience with a streamlined, all-American menu and a contemporary, new design. With broad appeal and an established fan base, it has a flexible footprint, including traditional and non-traditional restaurant locations.

Johnny Rockets currently operates more than 330 successful restaurants in 26 countries on five continents. Since opening its first franchise in 1987, Johnny Rockets has proven itself as a highly demanded all-American dining and entertainment option around the world.

Johnny Rockets aims to develop the established brand in the UK through a franchising model, with the appointment of experienced and qualified group/company/individual, to act as Exclusive Territory Developer and commit to opening a multi-unit network of restaurants.

The ideal candidate would have at least two years restaurant owner/operator experience, multi-unit experience in either QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) or FCR (Fast Casual Restaurant) or casual dining segment, or retail experience in multi-unit environment. Additionally, candidates should have a keen awareness of market and country business conditions as well as real estate knowledge contacts.

The candidate would also have a minimum net-worth of US $5 million, with liquid capital of at least US $1.5 million. Because of the potential range of growth and country-specific costs, exact requirements will vary, but are proportionate to the impressive scope of the proposed project.

The successful applicant will receive a one-week training session in the US at Johnny Rocket’s corporate HQ in California, for the owner and/or top executive. This will be followed by a four-week training session for operations managers and store managers at a certified training restaurant, prior to the opening of the first restaurant. Additionally, they will receive support and resources in the areas of marketing, design and construction, public relations, purchasing and operations.
