Kall Kwik gives Sir Alan's apprentices a helping hand
KALL KWIK was "hired"in last month's final episode of the BBC hit series "The Apprentice"with a crucial design and print job that was make or break for the stressed-out candidates.
The Kall Kwik at South Bank realised the challenge when both would-be apprentices walked in, asking for tickets for their respective events on Tower Bridge, organised to impress Amstrad boss Sir Alan Sugar.
Staff at Kall Kwik immediately agreed to take on the challenge, taking the jobs from consultation through to design and delivery in just a couple of hours. The team's professionalism paid off, culminating in exposure to more than eight million Apprentice devotees in its final episode on BBC 2.
The first opportunity came when finalist Michelle Dewberry, was seen leaving Kall Kwik at the end of her busy day and then her colleague was spotted the very next day sat in a taxi, holding the large box of tickets with Kall Kwik's distinctive logo on the side.
Greg Howard, manager of Kall Kwik South Bank, says: 'It was a golden opportunity to show Kall Kwik at its best - delivering quality jobs to the tightest of deadlines, with delighted customers looking the business at the end. National coverage on the BBC was a bonus but the team were just delighted to help out the apprentices in probably one of the most demanding weeks of their lives!'
Michelle, Ruth and Sir Alan aren't the only TV stars to turn to Kall Kwik when they need help. Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver was also photographed by the national press presenting a named petition to Downing Street, calling for better school dinners - printed, packaged and delivered courtesy of ...
