Aid the international growth of a US chain

A new international franchise opportunity has emerged as US based Mexican restaurant chain, La Salsa, is looking for suitable franchisee partners to aid its global expansion plans.

La Salsa was originally founded in 1979 as a chain of Mexican 'taquerias', neighbourhood restaurants where people gather to eat the 'speciality of the house' - soft tacos. Since then the company has evolved into a quick, casual Mexican restaurant chain that operates across the US.

Despite its nationwide success, La Salsa has continued to keep its neighbourhood feel by supporting the communities in which it operates through aiding local fund-raising activities and corporate giving programmes.

La Salsa's growth has been assisted by the fact that it has set itself apart from the competition with its use of bold, contemporary Mexican flavours and a signature salsa bar with seven varieties. All of La Salsa restaurants use fresh, quality ingredients in the preparation of its classic Mexican recipes, which includes a range of burritos, tacos and quesadillas.

Every restaurant is designed to stimulate the senses and to create a contemporary festive atmosphere that celebrates the authentic heritage of Mexico. Additionally each La Salsa restaurant features an exhibition style kitchen that enables diners to view their meals being prepared.

In addition to offering a dine-in option of lunch or dinner, La Salsa also provides customers with a take away and catering service. Customers who select the catering service can choose from the options of home delivery; having La Salsa staff set up a self-serve buffet; or full-service catering, where La Salsa provides the set up, service, and clean up.

La Salsa franchisees can choose from four types of restaurant layouts that range in size and suitable venues, these are: La Salsa Express, La Salsa Grill, La Salsa Cantina and La Salsa Restaurant.

The company is looking for franchise partners who will own, open and operate the restaurants themselves under a development agreement. All international territories are available and a license agreement is for a 10 year term. Each license will be valued according to the market, however the minimum investment requirement is $500,000.

As part of the La Salsa franchise package franchisees can expect to be provided with on-going support, which includes; marketing support, real estate and construction, management training, restaurant 'open team' support, and on-going operational support.
