Martin has over 30 years of experience at the most senior levels in a number of leading companies. He joined Forte in 1987 and was appointed Company Solicitor. He was involved in the Granada takeover, the Compass merger and de-merger and the auction of the Forte brands. He then transferred to Meridien Hotels where he was appointed UK Legal Director, during which period he masterminded Meridien Hotels' management contract transactions and oversaw the UK legal aspects of the restructuring of the sale of Meridien Hotels to Starwood Hotels.

'We are acting for an increasing number of hotel chains who are franchising their hotels, so we are extremely fortunate that we persuaded Martin, who is generally considered to be the expert in hotel and media law to join us,' says Partner John Pratt.
