Merry Maids franchise owner, Jonathan Dean (pictured, right) has been awarded the ‘Frank Small Award’ for 2010 by the Merry Maids franchisor, ServiceMaster.

This award is given to franchise owners who have been operating for less than two years and have implemented the Merry Maids franchise business model in order to achieve substantial growth. Frank Small was a franchise owner with ServiceMaster for many years running a number of franchises who died in 1988.

Dean of Merry Maids South Surrey, has owned and operated his domestic cleaning franchise since December 2009. He initially worked from home with a team of two Merry Maids, requiring the support and understanding of his family. Today Dean has 18 members of staff and has recently moved into new business premises to meet the needs of his growing business and increasing customer base.

Commenting on the award Dean said: “This really is an award for the whole team, the growth we have achieved is only possible with their reliability, dedication and continued hard work.

“The support from ServiceMaster has been really helpful.”
