Domestic cleaning franchise Molly Maid is celebrating over 60 years of combined business success in Scotland.

Molly Maid has four Scotland-based franchise owners who own territories in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh and most recently Ayr.

Molly Maid Glasgow, which is owned by Tracey Dolan and Molly Maid Aberdeen, owned by Kim Munro, have been operating for over 20 years. Molly Maid Edinburgh, which has been operating for over 17 years, has recently been purchased by Bruce and Carol Torrance, who are the son and daughter-in-law of the previous owner.

The latest addition to Molly Maid in Scotland is Jeanette Wilson of Molly Maid Ayr, who recently celebrated her first year of owning the management franchise.

Molly Maid franchise owners benefit from a strong brand image that is recognised across the UK. A survey recently conducted by IPSOS MORI showed that more than one in five adults (22 per cent) in the UK now regard the Molly Maid brand as the household name for domestic cleaning. With this brand recognition Molly Maid is continuing to seek out motivated and enthusiastic new Molly Maid franchise owners for the Glasgow (East), Falkirk, Glenrothes and Dundee regions.

To assist prospective franchise owners in the current economic climate, Molly Maid, which has been operating in the UK since 1984 and has more than 70 franchises nationwide, has recently launched an innovative finance initiative that helps to finance the purchase a Molly Maid franchise. Providing the prospective franchise owner has received funding approval from their bank Molly Maid will now defer payment of up to 70 per cent of the initial investment during the first 18 months of trading.
