Find your perfect franchise opportunity at the National Franchise Exhibition taking place on 1st and 2nd October at the NEC in Birmingham
For two days in early October the largest franchise exhibition in the UK will be taking place at the NEC in Birmingham. Over the years this annual event has gained a reputation for providing one of the best places for potential franchise owners to find their perfect business opportunity.
The exhibition will be packed full of well known franchise brands looking for franchise owners to help continue and benefit from their success. The National Franchise Exhibition will provide a unique opportunity for visitors to speak to representatives from a number of franchise brands including McDonald’s, Papa John’s, 5aday Box Supplies, Banana Moon Day Nursery, Barrett & Coe, Dream Doors, Colourfence, Jabber Jacks, Little Angles UK, Raleigh UK, Subway and MOLLY MAID.
Visitors can be confident that the brands exhibiting are all genuine opportunities as the National Franchise Exhibition is exclusively supported by the British Franchise Association (bfa) and therefore it only features companies that have met the bfa’s code of ethics.
Adrian Goodsell, Franchise Exhibition Manager at Venture Marketing Group, organisers of The National Franchise Exhibition, said: “The event is a showcase of proven business opportunities with highly reputable asset to anyone starting up on their own.”
As well as providing a platform for franchisors to exhibit their concepts, the National Franchise Exhibition provides free seminars and speeches about the franchise industry and information about starting up a business.
For those who have little or no knowledge about the franchise industry their first port of call should be the Franchise Starting Point. The Franchise Starting Point will feature franchising experts to help those with little knowledge of the franchising concept and will include members of the bfa team, specialists from leading banks, accountants, lawyers, current franchise owners and franchisors.
Also returning to this year’s exhibition is the Franchise Owner Panels, where existing franchise owners give honest advice and information about going from being employed to owning a business. Members of the Panel will also answer visitors’ questions and state the pros and cons of being a franchise owner.
Each year the exhibition builds on the one before and this year is no exception with regular exhibitors Lloyds TSB hosting the Lloyds TSB Business Plan Clinic that will provide visitors with practical advice about how to create a credible business plan, and help prepare them for meetings with Bank Managers and Finance Consultants.
Additionally, this year’s event will also introduce a Franchise Resales Pavilion, which will provide information about the benefits of investing in an already-established franchise.
