Are you a winner?

If you've got the will, we've got the way

Do you have what it takes to develop your own million pound business? If you do then OCG (Office Canopy Group) want to hear from you. OCG is the UK's most dynamic office products company. Its unique e-procurement technology and fulfillment capability means that its Franchise Partners are free to concentrate on building long term customer relationships, with both large, national corporations and local SME business.

The right stuff

OCG Franchise Partners, whether they come from professional sales or business backgrounds, have one thing in common, the desire and energyy to be winners. Ross had a background in office product sales. Phil spent 25 years as an insurance professional. Both have now developed multi-million pound OCG Franchises.

"I recently won my first million pound contract!"

"Despite the recession OCG are doing really well, with my own business being up 130 per cent!" says franchise partner Phil Marshall. "Our unique selling point is our company-owned technology, which enables our customers to maintain complete control and visibility over their office supplies and other commodity procurement."

By taking advantage of the OCG business model, Phil and his customers benefit from the collective purchasing power of a larger entity and streamlined business model. OCG franchise owners are, therefore, able to offer lower overall product prices and administration overheads than traditional contract office suppliers, dealers and mail order specialists.

Phil loves the fact that he is in control of his own destiny. "The potential to get a pay raise every day adds to the excitement and is a great motivator," he reflects. "A principal goal of mine was to create and own a £1 million business within three years and I've done it!"

"I'll be able to retire at 50!"

In the first 12 months, Ross Edmonds (pictured right bottom) built a business in excess of £1.1m and became OCG's Partner of the Year, thanks to his willingness to expand quickly and take advantage of OCG's ability to support large clients.

"You don't need a specific office supplies background - the training provides a comprehensive induction to the business - but it is important to be sales orientated," says Ross. "The support and infrastructure is in place to allow you to concentrate on making sales and our USP, the online ordering technology, puts us one step ahead of the competition."
