Scotland will play host to a wide range of franchise opportunities when The British Franchise Exhibition takes place at the SECC in Glasgow on 2nd and 3rd June 2006

The British Franchise Exhibition will feature many well-known companies offering a wide variety of business opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs. The event, incorporating the Growing Your Own Business Showcase & Conference, also forms the focal point of Scottish Franchise Week, organised by The British Franchise Association (bfa). Scottish Franchise Week has been established to promote sustainable business in Scotland and includes a number of seminars and networking opportunities throughout the week, culminating in the expo in Glasgow.

The event, which is sponsored by the bfa, the Daily Mail, Business Franchise and Franchise World, is the ideal place for entrepreneurs to find out all there is to know about franchising and running their own businesses. Visitors to the show will be able to meet with a wide range of well-established franchised companies and assess the benefits of running their own business as part of an established franchise brand. Visitors can also meet existing franchisees to gain a clear insight into the reality of working with a particular franchisor and its business.

With over 50 exhibitors present, well-known franchise companies confirmed include*; Antal International, Car Medic, Cartridge World UK, Cash Generator, Kumon Education, Little Impressions, MinuteMan Press, Myhome, Signs Express and Snap-on tools.

All exhibitors present at the exhibition are accredited by the bfa and thus adhere to the bfa's code of conduct, which ensures all opportunities on show can be determined as ethical and viable.

In addition, there will be experts from the bfa, bankers, accountants and solicitors to discuss every key issue from raising finance to legal contracts.
