Northwood is launching its first TV advertising campaign, which will target the growing numbers of people looking to let rather than sell their homes.
Airing across three ITV regions – Granada in the North West, Lookaround in the Borders and STV in Scotland, the 30-second advert will reach over 11 million potential customers promoting Northwood's unique Platinum Guaranteed Rental Income Scheme.
Of the 76 Northwood offices across the UK, 17 operate within the catchment of the TV broadcast – including Aberdeen, Carlisle, South Manchester and Bolton.
Viewers in these regions will see how Northwood's scheme guarantees rent for landlords all year round regardless of whether their property is occupied or not.
Nick Cooper, Northwood's UK Managing Director, said: "The fall in house prices we've seen in the last few years has made letting a property a more attractive option to selling. This has created a new generation of landlords who we aim to guide through the process with our variety of services.
"We are using the North of England and Scottish TV regions for the initial campaign. After the first three week burst, we plan to roll out the ad to other regions.
"With such huge audiences exposed to TV advertising, combined with the uniqueness of Northwood's lettings service, we are expecting to unearth a number of potential landlords who could be reaping the rewards of letting their property through us."
The Northwood TV ad campaign will launch on January 16 and will be aired during popular ITV programmes including Coronation Street, Loose Women and Daybreak.
