Care Boss slams government stance
Gary Farrer, Managing Director of SureCare believes the quality of care and dignity of older people is being squeezed by penny-pinching local councils. His comments are in response to a recent BBC investigation into UK care provision, which found sufficient care was being provided in just four from 101 cases. He said: “This investigation by the BBC confirms what providers within the sector has known for some time, namely that the contracts being offered by certain local authorities are simply unsustainable. “We are facing a care time bomb, a world in which more and more of us will be working until we are 75 and living past 100.”
Ableworld’s 20th store
