Orange and T-Mobile join forces

The UK mobile operators Orange and T-Mobile have merged together and formed new brand Everything Everywhere.

At present these two brands combined have more than 700 stores on the British high street and by the end of the year customers will be able to enjoy both networks without any additional cost.

This new business with 50:50 joint venture will lead to the creation of a new market leader which will have more then 34 million subscribers along with 43 per cent share in the UK market, it is said to become the largest telecom supplier in the UK.

Everything Everywhere is a company which is led by Deputy Chief Executive Alexander Moat and Chief Financial Officer Richard Moat and has around 16,500 employees. The company plans to expand its services into the fields of mobile commerce and mobile advertising.
