Best customer buys Ovenclean franchise owner's business!

Retiring Ovenclean franchise owner Ray Moon has just sold his successful business for several times its initial cost to one of his best customers, former company Director Stephanie Rouse.

Ray Moon joined Ovenclean six years ago and developed a thriving customer base which enabled him to expand his business, take on some employed help and put another vehicle on the road.

All of which was ideal for Stephanie Rouse, who was looking to invest in an established business, rather than launching a franchise from scratch.

"I'm so excited about this new business venture," she enthuses. "I'd been thinking about buying a franchise for over a year now, and have looked at a number of different opportunities, but somehow nothing felt quite right. When I found out that Ray was retiring, I realised this would be perfect for me and leapt at the chance to buy his business."

Stephanie has been an Ovenclean devotee for five years, so she knows first hand the excellent quality of service and the potential for regular, repeat business from loyal customers. As an ex-director of a busy marketing services company, she also brings a wealth of management experience to her Ovenclean franchise and is equipped with the necessary skills to take the business forward.

"My decision to leave a well-paid job in a successful company has been driven by a desire to improve my quality of life," she explains. "A big job brings with it major demands on your time as well as financial rewards and in my previous career I've sometimes had to spend months away from home. Now my husband has retired, we want to spend more time together, so the combination of a challenging new business project with the opportunity to work from home, presented the ideal scenario!"

Stephanie says she can't wait to get started, but initially plans to get to know the business and its customers thoroughly before introducing any change.

"I'm buzzing with ideas and see lots of possibilities ahead, but a well run business makes it all look easy from the outside," she comments. "I know there is tremendous potential for further growth and development. The Ovenclean system is absolutely brilliant - every time Ray cleaned our oven it looked brand new - the marketplace is huge, and once people are aware of the existence of an oven cleaning service, they love it. The rest is down to excellent marketing - and that's my strength!"
