Determined Debbie Pell is in the business of taking the headache out of housework for busy house owners, cleaning their ovens until they sparkle and leaving hobs as good as new.

Despite the difficult economic climate, she has become so busy with new enquiries for her service that she has decided to expand. Pell has taken on an additional territory, a second specially equipped Ovenclean vehicle and has recruited her first employee.

“It’s scary, but I’m so delighted. I’m inundated with work, but I was starting to lose customers because I simply couldn’t fit them in for weeks ahead – and most people don’t want to have to wait!”

Pell launched her Ovenclean franchise early in 2008 and since then has built up a large regular, repeat order customer base.

“People are absolutely amazed at the end results and those who have never had their ovens cleaned professionally before almost always become regular customers and recommend me to their family and friends,” said Pell. “I’m so pleased that I made the break from my old job and had the courage to start my own business with Ovenclean. I’ve had great support, I really love working for myself and it’s absolutely brilliant being so highly valued. Now I’m looking forward to training up my new employee and building a bigger business for the future!”

Ovenclean is one of the longest established and most successful domestic oven cleaning franchises in the UK, providing specialist services to a large, virtually untapped marketplace, including domestic customers, schools and lettings agencies. The powerful yet eco-friendly Ovenclean system, exclusive to franchise owners, effectively cleans ovens and hobs, Agas, ranges and barbecues, restoring them to pristine condition within a matter of a few hours.
