Four months on from opening his second Papa John's Hertfordshire franchise, Luigi Forgione is seeing his profits steadily increase with the launch of his family meal deals.

Forgione, who’s latest store is based in Broxbourne, said: “Papa John’s took over a company called Perfect Pizza a few years ago and we were lucky enough to be able to buy the franchise for the Broxbourne store which had been empty for some time. We now employ 15 full and part-time staff at Broxbourne including my son.”

As well as his Broxbourne franchise, Forgione also owns a Papa John’s store in Ware, both of which he runs with his brothers Tony and Libby Forgione. He added: “It is a real family affair and this helped us identify and recognise the needs of our Broxbourne customers who were loving our family bundle deals.

“We have also orientated our 6,000 leaflets per week and high-profile wobble-board promotions towards families. We are now getting great feedback, with customers saying they can really ‘taste the difference’ compared with our competition.”
