Photography for Little People is to hold its first national photographic awards at the prestigious Lumley Castle, Durham.

With 20 franchise owners around the country and more waiting to progress, the awards will highlight the very best in a network of high quality franchise owners.

The awards come at the end of a great year for Photography for Little People, which recently has seen three more franchise owners join the network and complete their training.

Sian Zalick, who owns the Hertfordshire North area, said: “I joined the RAF as a photographer eight years ago and loved it but after the birth of my son Jack I decided it was time to give in my notice. I wanted to start my own business and knew that I would be more successful with a franchise because of the support that would be on offer. I found Photography for Little People and loved the style and the flexibility. It fits around my family and I can plan my own work. The training was great fun and I love my new career. It is hard work but I am living my dream of being a photographer, my son gets more of my time and I am happy.”
