Premier service from Premier Sport
Four years on since Premier Sport franchise owner Danny Melling launched his business, he is still amazed by the rewards of his investment, he said: "I cant believe how far I have come. My initial investment has generated more money than I could have dreamed of."
While on holiday Melling met a Premier Sport franchise owner who told him all about the franchise, he quickly became very interested in the business opportunity and decided to take things to the next level.
"Inevitably I was incredibly nervous about giving up a steady job and investing into something new, so I approached a close friend of mine, Andy Heald. Andy, although also having a steady job at the time, was really interested and after a bit of research and plucking up the courage to take the plunge, we decided to buy two franchises under one business name and Sportivity Ltd was born," said Melling.
Since the launch of Sportivity Ltd, Melling has swiftly established himself in the Premier network, becoming a regional mentor and then in January being appointed Head of Operations where he oversees a team of mentors and helps produce new and innovative systems and support measures to ensure franchise owners get the best possible results out of their business.
"Sportivity Ltd continues to grow and Andy is working with over 20 coaches to ensure that they all deliver to the high standards that we have set. We currently deliver more than 100 events per week in schools and our turnover last year was £345,000. Our plans for the future are to continue to grow, without diluting the quality of service we offer. Our next financial target is to turn over £500,000," said Melling.
Each new franchise owner benefits from a thorough induction programme, sports coaching qualifications and on-the-job training guided by an experienced business mentor. The backing of a head office team of marketing and PR experts means your business is continually in the public eye. Accounts and admin staff ensure that much of the paperwork is dealt with on your behalf, so owners can concentrate on growing turnover.
Sporting legends including rugby player Lawrence Dallaglio (pictured), Olympic gold medallist Duncan Goodhew and former Great Britain rugby league Captain Paul Sculthorpe are all acting as ambassadors for Premier, they are on hand to promote the brand in over 2,000 schools each week.
"The guidance received by Premier has been unbelievable, it's not a coincidence that Premier has been number one for so long," said Melling.
