Rainbow International wins solus restoration contract with Lloyds TSB

Rainbow International has been appointed by Lloyds TSB Insurance as its sole provider of disaster restoration services for domestic insurance claims in the UK.

The contract covers fire, flood, escape of water and accidental damage and Rainbow International's nationwide network of 126 franchisees is entrusted to handle all Lloyds TSB Insurance household claims in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The decision to appoint Rainbow International on a solus basis followed a rigorous and lengthy evaluation process, during which Lloyds TSB Insurance considered the service delivery capability, technological competence and cost efficiencies of many restoration service suppliers.

MD Phil Else comments: 'Rainbow International has had a solus-contract with Royal & SunAlliance in place for the past 22 months, and the reliability and response levels of our service gave confidence to Lloyds TSB Insurance's decision to appoint us.

In January 2003, Rainbow International was acquired by the ISS Group and is now part of ISS Damage Control along with commercial disaster recovery company ISS Ark & General.
