What attracted me most to being a part of Raring2go! was the great support and training being offered. Over the years I have looked into various ideas (including a shoe shop!) but was always put off by the uncertainty and huge upfront financial outlay. Many years ago I worked in publishing and very much enjoyed it so thought Raring2go! ticked all the right boxes for enjoyment and business purposes!

My work has been rich and varied in the past, but has always had a people focus, which is one of the elements I like about Raring2go! I'm very much a people person, and love talking to people about Raring2go! I am very keen to publicise the magazine locally and was recently interviewed on the local radio station Hfm. The interview was really well received and I had a couple of new advertisers contacting me as a result. I think because I believe so much in the product this really shines through when I speak about it.

It has been very hard work, you need to be somebody who can use their own initiative, and be quite creative. However Raring2go! has given me so much confidence and has really made me think like an entrepreneur! For example I have just set up another company myself with a friend offering text services tailored to magazines after running successful text competitions in my first and second issues of Raring2go! It's a really exciting time for me!
