With constant warnings about high obesity levels and associated health problems, demand for low fat foods has increased rapidly. Providing a healthy, quick and convenient alternative to fatty fast-food, Revive Juice Bars 'Revive' has met this consumer demand and is looking for franchisees across the UK to expand its business further.

Founded in 2004, Revive currently has six companyowned stores in operation, and has another two due to open early this year. Each outlet has over 50 drinks on its menu, including a healthy 'Hot Drink' section that Revive was the first to successfully introduce in the UK.

The company's mission statement is: 'To create and develop a global brand with a focus on the health and well being of our customers and the development of our staff,' and it is clear that creating customer satisfaction is at the heart of the Revive business.

The popularity of the Revive brand has not only grown in the UK but abroad as well. In December 2007 Revive signed a Master Franchise Agreement with a private equity firm based in the Middle East. The deal consists of a 20 store development program in several Middle

Eastern countries over the next 5 years. The first location is set to open in March this year at the Souq Sharq Mall, Kuwait. The Revive Juice Bar franchise will suit both individuals and corporations. The support franchisees will receive includes help in fi nding and securing a site through the Revive Juice Bar property advisors and an in-house team of designers who work with franchisees to design stores from concept through to completion.

Revive takes all its franchisees through a comprehensive training module in a trading Revive juice bar. To consolidate this learning, a further 2 weeks training is held at the franchisees new store location with a franchise partner who is available for guidance and ongoing support thereafter.

Additionally a complete operations manual (which includes training and ordering) is available to all franchisees for easy reference, and there is a 24/7 call centre that deals with aspects of employment law such as issues from recruitment to disciplinary action.

Although having previous business experience will be an advantage it is not essential, as the company's training programme will ensure franchisees are fully capable of operating their business. It is preferred that potential franchisees initially work a minimum of three months in their store and a minimum number of hours per week thereafter. In some cases this may vary depending on the franchisees business experience and other commitments.

Revive is targeting regions nationally with existing trading stores in Ashford, Crawley, Oldham, Shrewsbury, Warrington and Wimbledon available for franchising. With its innovative retail products and great support structure Revive could be the perfect franchise for anyone looking to enter the juice bar sector.
